HI. I'M PAMELA.

FOUNDER OF INSIGHT BREAST CANCER.

I am a native Chicagoan and have a passion and heart for people. The cancer journey was life changing, increased my faith and gave me courage to live more fully.

Since the official organization launch in 2008, sponsored by Devon Seafood Grill - Chicago, we have had the opportunity to partner and support individuals with transportation, groceries and other needs throughout the metropolitan Chicagoland area prior to Uber, Lyft, and Instacart.

Our Jazz Event Fundraisers, generous Sponsors and Supporters are the community that made all of this possible! I am honored by their generosity and commitment to bridge the gap of barriers encountered by those undergoing cancer treatment.

Thank you for visiting and hope you will support our mission.

Insight Breast Cancer Organization was established in 2007 by Mrs. Pamela A. Mills, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, December 2005.

That Treatment Journey consisted of Lumpectomy, Chemotherapy, and Radiation Therapy.

While she had a host of support from family and friends, she was devastated to learn many women were dying from breast cancer because of the inability to attend chemotherapy due to lack of transportation and childcare services.

Insight Breast Cancer Organization, Inc. was established to minimize these barriers.  The Board of Directors and Professional Advisory Council consist of Survivors, Business and Medical Professionals that understand the need to mitigate healthcare inequities by seeking access to recourses.

Mrs. Mills holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science and master’s Degrees in both Business Administration and Project Management. She worked in the Healthcare Field over ten years and is currently in a Leadership role at local agency.

To Qualify for Our Services you must minimally meet the following conditions:

  • Reside within the Metropolitan Chicagoland Area.

  • Complete the verification Process.

All information regarding patient status and diagnosis is strictly confidential unless consents are otherwise granted for testimonial purposes only.

Limited Funding is available and services are granted according to greatest need of clients.

Insight Breast Cancer was the shoulder I needed to lean on in my time of need. They were able to assist me with groceries when the copay for the medicine affected my budget! It took away that concern.

I needed a community and Insight Breast Cancer was just want I needed. My family and friends were supportive but I needed more. I am thankful for this organization.

The help that is available through Insight Breast Cancer Organization stands out from others because they are able to provide immediate resources based on patients need. We partnered with them to assist our patient community with transportation and groceries.
